Terramar is located on the boulevard in the heart of Kralendijk with ton’s of restaurants surrounding it..so let’s start with the ‘less-steps-award’ which goes to Mona Lisa. Mona Lisa is the oldest restaurant located in the mainstreet of Bonaire, a very cozy restaurant offering an European cuisine and of course the snappy smile of the lady herself. At Mona Lisa you can sit indoors, at the bar or on the side walk. Guests are welcome to pick from their extended menu or from their famous “bar hap” menu. Hint: their Wiener schnitzel is a must-try.

Next up along the stroll is Cuba Compagnie & La Cantina. Both in an old-style Bonairean house located at the beginning of the main street. Cuba Compagnie is the place to be for food, drinks and a little bit of party in a Cuban atmosphere. Early in the evening you can enjoy their menu with a twist of Cuban food and international cuisine, as the night goes on the sweet sounds of salsa will begin to caress your ears. Tip: Cuba is the place to be on Thursday evenings! Don’t miss it.

La Cantina

La Cantina is located across Cuba Compagnie and it’s truly a hidden gem in the mainstreet. The backyard of the old Bonairean style house is transformed into a super cozy Latin-American style restaurant offering dishes made out of fresh local ingredients. La Cantina is famous for it’s ‘Chef’s Table’ where the chef will surprise you with a 4 - 6 course menu whilst you watch them hands on preparing all your dishes. A bonus to the restaurant is its brewery famous for the Bonaire Blond beer. Hint: reserve in advance because La Cantina is becoming the most talked-about restaurant on the island.

Further up you will stumble upon Capriccio, Mezze and the furthest walk will be At Sea. However At Sea is an award-winning restaurant thus it’s worth the walk. While on the boulevard you will not miss Capriccio, a premier Italian restaurant in a modern Roman looking white building with huge columns. Capriccio has an exquisite wine cellar that has been honored each year since 2002. It offers one of the most outstanding restaurant wine lists in the world. And of course paired with ‘food made-to-order’ Italian dishes.

After Capriccio you will find a lovely turquoise Turkish restaurant offering nothing else than delicious Middle Eastern food. Mezze is the only restaurant on the island offering lamb, kebab, hummus, kibeh, kafta, baked-to-order pita bread, skewers..in other words; an impeccable selection of Middle Eastern cuisine. Mezze’s menu offers small plates so one can enjoy a great selection of all the mouthwatering dishes. And to top off the night they have Hookah's too.

Below Osaka you will find Donna & Giorgio, the restaurant of Donna & husband Giorgio. A genuine authentic Italian restaurant offering “home cooking” in a small charming touch, very pleasant and cozy. Donna & Giorgio have been running the restaurant for 15 years already, a classic when it comes to Bonaire’s restaurant list.

Last but not least up very east you will find It Rains Fishes restaurant, as the name says it rains fishes, lobsters, scallops but poultry and meat too. It Rains Fishes is also located in a very historical building more than 100 years old. In front of the restaurant there’s a pier, where local fishermen cross the street and bring their fresh catch of the day. The seating at It Rains Fishes is outdoors, on the balcony of the old house, which calls for unforgettable sunsets you can not miss!
